Using a low interest 'green loan' from your bank is a smart way to finance the upfront cost of solar.
Existing or new home loan customers can borrow up to $80,000 at a fixed rate of 1% per annum for 3 years to purchase a solar system.
Existing or new home loan customers can borrow up to $50,000 interest-free for 5 years to fund a solar power system.
ASB home loan customers can top up their Home Loan, up to $80,000 at a fixed rate of 1% per annum for 3 years to purchase a solar system.
Customers can borrow up to $80,000 at 1% per annum for 3 years to pay for a solar system
Existing or new mortgage customers can add a loan to borrow $5,000 or more for the cost of a solar panel system. Kiwibank will then contribute $2,000 over 4 years towards the cost of repaying the loan.
